Gardens of Historic
North Park and Burlingame
This year's tour will feature the gardens of historic homes in the Bird Park area of North Park and the Burlingame Neighborhood - on the eastern edge of Balboa Park, between North and South Park. This area has gone through an amazing renaissance since SDFA last featured these neighborhoods on tour in 2013.
The annual garden tour is our single largest fundraiser of the year. We rely on many volunteers to make this event a success. We particularly need docents to help staff each of the gardens on display. Docents are given a free ticket to the tour. Children are welcome on the tour with adult supervision.
Ages 12 and under are free. The gardens cannot accomodate strollers.
Dogs are not allowed in the gardens.
The gardens are not ADA accessable.
